The newspaper said 69 people remained missing on the 16th day of search efforts, while 108 others had been rescued.

The ferry went missing on September 13 during a severe storm while traveling from Surabaya in East Java Province to Banjarmasin in South Kalimantan Province. A total of 243 people were on board, including 30 crew members.
