Teenager wounded as Ukraine shells Novaya Kakhovka

The victim was hospitalized with multiple fragmentation wounds to legs

GENICHESK, December 5. /TASS/. A teenager was wounded when Ukrainian troops shelled the town of Novaya Kakhovka, the Kherson Region governor’s press secretary, Vladimir Vasilenko, has told TASS.

"A teenager born in 2009 was wounded in a shelling attack on Novaya Kakhovka at around 11:00 p.m. Moscow time [8:00 p.m. GMT] on Wednesday," he said.

The victim was hospitalized with multiple fragmentation wounds to legs.

The spokesman added that an apartment building sustained minor damage to its walls and roof. Also, its windows were smashed as a result of the attack.
