Slovakia starts investigating possible preparation of terrorist acts against pipelines

Minister of Interior Matus Sutaj Estok noted that an organized group of suspects in the possible preparation of terrorist acts is showing interest in the area where the Druzhba oil pipeline are running

BRATISLAVA, December 1. /TASS/. Slovakia is investigating a suspicion of preparing terrorist attacks against critical infrastructural facilities, Minister of Interior Matus Sutaj Estok said.

"The activity that can be associated with the possible preparation of a terrorist act against the critical infrastructure [of the republic] was registered in the east of Slovakia," the minister said, cited by the Pravda news portal.

An organized group of suspects in the possible preparation of terrorist acts is showing interest in the area where the Druzhba oil pipeline and the transit gas pipeline are running, he noted. The activity of the group was recorded in Slovakia and Hungary.
