DONETSK, November 8. /TASS/. The Ferrosplavnaya-1 power supply line of the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) has been disconnected after being damaged, the ZNPP reported on Max, adding that backup diesel generators have been activated.

"The Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant has lost its external power supply. The 330 kV Ferrosplavnaya-1 overhead line, which provided power for the plant’s own operational needs, was disconnected by protection systems following damage. The backup diesel generators started up as designed and are providing power to the equipment necessary for the plant to operate safely," the report said.
