WASHINGTON, January 19. /TASS/. US-based OpenAI, the ChatGPT developer, intends to present its first device as early as this year, Chief Global Affairs Officer of the company Chris Lehane told Axios news outlet.

He did not indicate whether the device is actually going on sale this year but said OpenAI was "looking at something in the latter part [of 2026]," Axios said.

Lehane gave no details what the device would be but said it would be more "peaceful" than a smartphone and simple in use.
