Kamaz to start making K5 trucks without components from unfriendly states in February 2023

Despite the sanctions imposed against the company, the production of K4 and K5 generation trucks continues

ELABUGA, November 27. /TASS/. The Russian truck maker Kamaz plans to launch the full-scale production of K5 trucks with components not depending on supplies from unfriendly countries in February 2023, the office of Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov said in a statement on the official website of the Russian Government.

"It is planned to ensure the full-scale production of K5 generation trucks since February 2023 with the use of components not depending on supplies from unfriendly states," the statement reads.
