BRUSSELS, October 5. /TASS/. Russian diamond producer Alrosa was excluded from the new package of EU sanctions, the EUobserver web portal said on Wednesday, citing unnamed diplomats.

Alrosa was not included into the final agreement on new restrictions approved on Wednesday, the news outlet said.

According to the web portal, Belgium and Italy also received certain exceptions from the planned ban on Russian steel import for the period up to two years. Malta was granted a longer period to set the Russian oil price cap, sources said.
