MOSCOW, July 4. /TASS/. The liberation of Konstantinovka is a clear success for Russian troops and an important step toward the final liberation of Donbass and achieving the goals of the special military operation, Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev stated.
"The capture of Konstantinovka is a clear success for our soldiers. It is an important step toward the final liberation of Donbass and the achievement of the special military operation goals," the security official wrote in a post on his Max channel.
According to him, Kiev and its Western sponsors' false rhetoric about the initiative allegedly shifting to the Ukrainian armed forces is only for their own self-preservation and to secure new funding for the war.
Medvedev wondered how the various lying scoundrels who spread nonsense about "the initiative shifting to Ukraine" would react to the Russian army's liberation of Konstantinovka. He noted that they "may say that the surrender of Konstantinovka is a major victory for the Ukrainian armed forces." According to him, Brussels should acknowledge the transfer of this town to Russian control as evidence of the failure of the Russian military's plans.
"The false rhetoric of Bandera’s Kiev and its sponsors serves only to ensure their own survival and secure new funding for the war. How else can they explain to their own people the loss of 20% of their former territories and the disappearance of half the population of Ukraine?" the security official stressed.
According to Medvedev, Russia’s new security corridor will run through the Sumy, Dnepropetrovsk, and Kharkov Regions.
"The new security zone, which the head of state mentioned yesterday, will run through the Sumy, Dnepropetrovsk, and Kharkov Regions," he wrote, commenting on Kiev and its sponsors' reaction to Russia's liberation of Konstantinovka.
