CSTO to hold drills in Belarus, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan in 2025 — bloc’s chief

MOSCOW, December 4. /TASS/. The Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) will hold drills in Belarus, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan next year, CSTO Secretary General Imangali Tasmagambetov told a press conference on Wednesday.

"Each year, we adopt an operational and combat training plan, under which we hold drills on various themes and in various directions. The 2025 operational and combat training plan has also been adopted. We will conduct drills in Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan," the bloc’s chief said.

On the territory of Kyrgyzstan, the post-Soviet security bloc will hold the Rubezh 2025 (Frontier 2025) command and staff exercise and an operational gathering of the military command of the Collective Rapid Deployment Forces of the Central Asian collective security region as part of the Combat Brotherhood 2025 operational and strategic drills, he specified.
