"France is burning! The immigration of people from an entirely different world, people with hatred in their hearts, has shattered that once great country. Close the borders and take control of the situation, before it's too late!" he wrote on Truth Social.

On October 17, mass demonstrations were held in Paris and throughout France against rising fuel prices and declining purchasing power. According to the organizers, 800,000 people participated, while the Interior Ministry counted 550,000. In some cities, the protests erupted into riots and clashes with the police. Interior Minister Laurent Nunez said 1,800 people were detained and vowed to continue to prosecute all those who participated in riots and ransacking.
