NEW YORK, February 12. /TASS/. The US Central Command (CENTCOM) has completed the withdrawal of US forces from the al-Tanf base in Syria.

"US Central Command (CENTCOM) completed the orderly departure of U.S. forces from al-Tanf Garrison in Syria on Feb. 11 as part of a deliberate and conditions-based transition by Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve," CENTCOM said in a statement.

The US Department of War started consolidating US locations in Syria in April 2025.
