UK to provide another 200 Brimstone anti-tank missiles to Ukraine — defense chief

British Secretary of State for Defense Grant Shapps claimed that those missiles "have previously had significant impact on the battlefield"

LONDON, February 22. /TASS/. The United Kingdom will provide Ukraine with another 200 Brimstone anti-tank missiles, British Secretary of State for Defense Grant Shapps said.

"Today, I can announce a new package of 200 Brimstone anti-tank missiles," he said in an address to the House of Commons. Shapps claimed that those missiles "have previously had significant impact on the battlefield."

The British defense chief also noted that Kiev was soon expected to receive drones, electronic warfare systems and other equipment from London, which had been purchased from the International Fund for Ukraine. He added that together with NATO allies, London would train another 10,000 Ukrainian troops in the United Kingdom in the first half of 2024.
