BERLIN, October 22. /TASS/. Up to 30% of German nationals of various political views oppose the country’s policy of sanctions and weapons’ supplies to Ukraine, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said in an interview with Welt am Sonntag newspaper.

"During my conversations with our citizens, I got the impression that between 20 and 30% of them disagreed either with the policy of sanctions or with the supplies of weapons," Scholz said. "They represented the views of all political parties."

The chancellor added, however, that Germany would carry on providing aid to Ukraine, including the military assistance.
