Putin, Abbot call for giving experts unhindered access to Boeing 777 crash site

MOSCOW, July 26, /ITAR-TASS/. Russia's President Vladimir Putin and Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott called for giving international experts unhindered access to the site of Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777 plane crash.

In a telephone talk on Saturday, Putin and Abbot agreed on the need to to comply with U.N. Resolution 2166.

They also called for an objective and independent international investigation of the Boeing 777 tragedy. Putin and Abbott agreed to maintain contacts. The talk was held on Australia’s initiative.

On July 17, a Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777 passenger airliner on flight MH17 from the Dutch city of Amsterdam to the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur crashed in eastern Ukraine’s embattled Donetsk Region, killing all 298 people on board.
