Russian troops return back to bases after drills near Ukraine

15 Ilyushin Il-76 planes took off from Russia’s Rostov, Belgorod and Bryansk regions on Wednesday, carrying Russian military to their permanent bases

MOSCOW, May 22, 5:27 /ITAR-TASS/. Fifteen Ilyushin Il-76 planes took off from Russia’s Rostov, Belgorod and Bryansk regions on Wednesday, carrying Russian military to their permanent bases after combat training in these regions bordering on Ukraine, the press service of the Russian Defence Ministry told Tass.

“Military hardware, armaments and materials are carried on trains,” they added. Four such trains have been dispatched by the present time.

The troops and hardware try to avoid general roads that are busy with the start of the summer season.

From June 1, summer studies will begin at garrisons.
