Russia will present a rehabilitation program for drug addicts developed for Afghanistan in the country’s capital of Kabul in June, head of the Federal Service for Control over Drug Circulation Viktor Ivanov said at the 5th meeting of heads of the anti-drug agencies of the Central Asian anti-drug quartet in the Russian capital on Wednesday.
“Upon results of the third expert meeting, the group of non-governmental organizations is developing a concept of creating a common national system of rehabilitation and re-socialization for Afghanistan which will be presented in Kabul in June,” Ivanov said.
In his words, Russia is also prepared to give practical assistance in creating domestic drug addiction rehabilitation systems in Pakistan and Tajikistan.
