SIMFEROPOL, April 12. /ITAR-TASS/. The Constitution of the Republic of Crimea, unanimously adopted by the State Council on April 11, came into force on Saturday, April 12.
"The Constitution is published in the newspaper Crimean News, and it has come into force today," a Crimean State Council source told Itar-Tass.
The Constitution turned Crimea from Ukraine's autonomous region without rights into a part of the Russian Federation's with full equal rights, State Council speaker Vladimir Konstantinov noted.
