SEOUL, October 24 (Itar-Tass) - Pyongyang has allowed South Korean Members of Parliament to visit the Kaesong industrial complex, an official at the Republic of Korea's Unification Ministry said Thursday, pointing out that the visit might be made as early as next Wednesday.
"The North has sent in its consent, which was referred to the National Assembly's Committee on Unification and Foreign Affairs," the Ministry official pointed out, emphasizing that the makeup of a parliamentary delegation has not been determined so far.
The lawmakers' trip is connected with South Korean businessmen's numerous complaints about difficulties in the transaction of business following the recent resumption of the operation of the industrial park. Next Wednesday's trip to Kaesong will be the first one to be made by South Korean parliamentarians.
