BEIJING, April 28. /TASS/. Russia hopes to expand cooperation with China in all spheres, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Thursday at the meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
"I want to send you warmest regards from Russian President Vladimir Putin. He is looking forward to visiting China and meeting with you. My visit mostly dedicated to preparing this summit," Lavrov said.
"Like you and President Putin ordered, we are preparing proposals in all spheres of our cooperation to further expand our interaction in political, economic and humanitarian spheres," the foreign minister noted.
He reminded that this year is the 15th anniversary of adopting an agreement on friendship, good-neighborly relations and cooperation between Russia and China. "This is a good reason to comprehensively review our plans and agree on concrete steps in the future," Lavrov said.
