VIENNA, November 5. /TASS/. The United States conflict with Iran has seriously impacted domestic processes in the United States, Russia’s Permanent Representative to the Vienna-based international organizations Mikhail Ulyanov said, commenting on the US midterm elections.

"The unjustifiable aggression against Iran significantly influenced domestic developments in the US. It was a free choice of the current US Administration," he wrote on X.

US President Donald Trump acknowledged earlier that the Republicans’ defeat in the country’s midterm elections was "largely" due to the war with Iran.
