TURKMENBASHI /Turkmenistan/, October 9. /TASS/. A true art of diplomacy lies in finding a breakthrough mechanism allowing for a transition to peaceful settlement in Ukraine, Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov said.

"But the art of diplomats lies exactly in finding some sort of a loophole, allowing transition to a peaceful track," Peskov said, commenting on the Ukrainian peace process.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Russia would like the conflict in Ukraine to be ended as quickly as possible through the process of peaceful settlement. He added that although Moscow is ready for talks, it sees no such desire on the Kiev regime’s part.
