Ukraine redeploying Colombian mercenary groups to Kharkov — Russian defense source

According to defense agencies, the number of foreign mercenaries in the Ukrainian armed forces is approaching 16,500, including 7,000 Colombians

MOSCOW, September 22. /TASS/. The Ukrainian armed forces continue to redeploy Colombian mercenaries to Kharkov, where Army Commander-in-Chief Mikhail Drapaty has also arrived, a source in Russia’s defense circles told TASS.

"The Ukrainian army’s Commander-in-Chief Drapaty has gone to Kharkov to discuss the current situation with the forces’ commanders. Colombian mercenaries also continue to be sent to the city," the source said.

Earlier, defense sources reported that a group of foreign mercenaries near the Dolzhanka settlement in the Kharkov Region intended to surrender to Russian forces, but three of the four militants were killed by Ukrainian retreat-blocking detachments.

According to defense agencies, the number of foreign mercenaries in the Ukrainian armed forces is approaching 16,500, including 7,000 Colombians.
