MOSCOW, August 23. /TASS/. Vladimir Zelensky, although he largely suits the West, puts too much into his pocket and may be replaced, Alexander Dudchak, a leading researcher at the Institute of CIS Countries and an expert with the Other Ukraine movement, told TASS.
"It’s quite possible that he could be replaced by a cheaper candidate. I mean they might install someone who would be like a clown or a puppet from a puppet theater because Zelensky is pocketing too much for himself," he noted.
For example, he said, they might appoint a hired manager, and in this case, someone like former Defense Minister Mikhail Fyodorov would be quite a suitable option - he would take less money for himself than Zelensky, but would perform his duties more effectively.
"Besides, his image in the West would be more acceptable. It’s like the difference between a rat and a squirrel. In principle, they’re both rats, but the squirrel has better marketing, as they say," Dudchak concluded.
