MAGAS, March 7. /TASS/. The Anglo-Saxon propaganda hypocritically glorifies terrorists and calls them freedom fighters provided they are acting against Russia, the secretary of Russia’s Security Council Nikolay Patrushev said while speaking in the capital of Ingushetia, Magas, at a meeting on security issues in the regions of the North Caucasus Federal District.

He noted that foreign intelligence services, primarily those of the United States and Britain used to supported and coordinate the terrorists’ activities in the North Caucasus in every possible way.

"The Anglo-Saxon propaganda in those years, and even now, hypocritically calls terrorists freedom fighters, glorifies frenzied nationalists and notorious personalities, as long as their actions are directed against Russia," Patrushev pointed out.

"Another confirmation of this is the opening of a memorial plaque to former terrorist leader Johar Dudayev in the Poltava Region of Ukraine in February this year," he stated.
