MOSCOW, February 7. /TASS/. Sergey Belyayev, the director of the second European department at the Russian Foreign Ministry, has said in an interview with RTVI that London could supply planes to the Kiev regime, but Moscow would respond.
"You know, unfortunately, nothing can be ruled out. Because, indeed, setting a goal of countering Russia, the UK can follow the path of escalation - again, by using a proxy - long enough and far enough. Will aircraft be supplied, will tanks be supplied? Unfortunately, this possibility cannot be ruled out. But again, it must be borne in mind that we will have an answer to any such step. What will the answer be is not just a political question," he said, adding that certain measures are also being taken and will be taken in the diplomatic and political areas.
According to Belyayev, the delivery of new weapons to the area of the special operation will complicate the situation, but is unlikely to be "some fundamental turning point."
"Well, a purely military answer, apparently, will be found as well, because our military is also quite and even highly professional," he added.
