MOSCOW, October 16. /TASS/. Russia's diesel fuel production capacity is more than sufficient to supply the domestic market and export deliveries, even taking into account refinery turnarounds, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak told reporters on the sidelines of the Russian Energy Week forum.
"Diesel fuel production capacity is twice the demand of the domestic market. It is enough even taking into account maintenance work on individual units; it is enough both to secure the domestic market and to support export supplies in line with the figures we discussed earlier," Novak said.
The figures are slightly lower this year, taking into account the facilities undergoing turnarounds, but overall there is enough fuel for the domestic market and exports, Novak noted. "Any attacks, if they lead to the shutdown of primary equipment for repairs, adversely impact product output," he added.
