Foreign companies interested in Russian UAV performance in hot climate — developer

"Solutions for operating under electronic countermeasures and the ability to adapt the systems to specific tasks drew particular attention," Yekaterina Zgirovskaya said

BAKU, October 5. /TASS/. Visitors to the ADEX 2026 International Defense Exhibition in Baku were interested in the performance of the Russian Supercam S350 and S180 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in hot climate conditions, Unmanned Systems Group Spokeswoman Yekaterina Zgirovskaya told TASS following the exhibition.

"Delegations from the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense, representatives of law enforcement agencies from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Belarus, as well as executives of Azerbaijani energy companies visited the Russian exposition, which featured three models of Supercam UAVs--the dual-purpose Supercam S350 and its ‘military version’ S350ME <…>, as well as the latest high-speed reconnaissance UAV, the Supercam S180. "The guests were interested in the capabilities of our unmanned systems, their tactical and technical characteristics, and their operation in hot climates. Solutions for operating under electronic countermeasures and the ability to adapt the systems to specific tasks drew particular attention," she said.

In addition, Zgirovskaya noted that, aside from the drones themselves, the exhibition visitors were also interested in post-sale maintenance services. "It is worth noting that the overall trend remains consistent: customers view unmanned systems not as a one-time purchase, but as part of a comprehensive offering that includes after-sales service," she said.

The ADEX 2026 International Defense Exhibition was held from September 30 to October 2 in Baku.
