BEIJING, October 16. /TASS/. The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) calls for drafting an international document to prevent an arms race in outer space, Secretary General Nurlan Yermekbayev said at the Beijing Xiangshan Forum.

"The SCO advocates a legally binding international document aimed at preventing an arms race in space and the militarization of information and communication technologies, as well as ensuring the safe and responsible use of artificial intelligence," he pointed out.
