North Korea launches two ballistic missiles — Japan Coast Guard

The missiles were reportedly launched at a 10-minute interval and have already fallen into the sea

TOKYO, March 27. /TASS/. North Korea launched two, presumably, ballistic missiles towards the Sea of Japan on Monday, according to the Japanese Coast Guard.

The missiles were reportedly launched at a 10-minute interval and have already fallen into the sea.

The first of two North Korean missiles likely landed outside Japan's exclusive economic zone, Kyodo news agency reported citing Japanese government sources.

This is the tenth missile launch since the beginning of the year, with North Korea testing ballistic missiles in eight of them. On February 18 and March 16, Pyongyang successfully launched Hwasong-15 and Hwasong-17 intercontinental ballistic missiles.
