LUGANSK, November 2. /TASS/. The Ukrainian army lost nearly 36,000 troops and foreign mercenaries in October, sustaining the largest losses in the Donetsk People’s Republic over that period, military expert Andrey Marochko said.

"The enemy lost 35,840 Ukrainian militants and mercenaries dead or wounded in October. As in September, the largest number of enemy troops was destroyed in the Donetsk People’s Republic in October," the military expert said during a live broadcast on the VKontakte social media platform, giving an analysis of Russian Defense Ministry data.

Also in October, Russian forces destroyed nearly 28,000 fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles, 56 sea vessels, 255 field artillery guns, 11 multiple rocket launchers, 174 electronic warfare and counterbattery radar stations and over 1,100 various enemy combat vehicles, he specified.
