More than 130 Ukrainian drones shot down in Kursk region over past 24 hours

The Ukrainian military fired artillery 38 times against evacuated areas

KURSK, August 10. /TASS/. The Armed Forces of Ukraine used artillery 38 times against evacuated areas of the Kursk region, and 132 Ukrainian drones were downed over the region, Governor Alexander Khinshtein has reported.

"In total, during the period from 9:00 a.m. on August 9 to 9:00 a.m. on August 10 (Moscow time) [6:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. GMT], 132 enemy drones of various types were shot down. The enemy fired artillery 38 times against evacuated areas. Four times drones attacked our territory using explosive devices," he said.

Khinshtein added that as a result of the attacks, in the village of Kolyachek in the Khomutovsky district, the facade and roof of an outbuilding were damaged. In the village of Nizhny Mordok in the Glushkovsky district, a house was destroyed, the governor of the Kursk region reported.
