Nebenzya responds to doubts about attack on Starobelsk voiced by Denmark’s envoy

Russia’s Permanent Representative to the UN says the Ukrainian army’s General Staff confirmed the attack

UNITED NATIONS, May 23. /TASS/. Russia’s Permanent Representative to the UN Vasily Nebenzya responded to statements by Denmark’s Permanent Representative to the UN Christina Markus Lassen regarding the impossibility of confirming the circumstances of the attack on Starobelsk, saying that even the Ukrainian army’s General Staff confirmed the attack.

"The representative of Denmark stated that they, apparently, don’t have access. Should I grant you access to the rubble? Or perhaps you’re going to claim that Russia did this itself, or that it’s a computer-generated image? You say you can’t independently confirm and aren’t sure it’s not staged, but even the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces confirmed that it struck Starobelsk," he said at a UN Security Council meeting.
