MOSCOW, March 25. /TASS/. Russia’s statement on the outcome of the expert consultations with the US that took place in Riyadh on Monday will be published on the Kremlin website soon, Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told TASS.
"We will publish Russia’s statement on the outcome of the Riyadh talks on the presidential website very soon," he said.
The White House released a statement on the matter earlier. According to the document, the US and Russia agreed to ensure safe navigation in the Black Sea. In addition, Washington is expected to "help restore Russia’s access to the world market for agricultural and fertilizer exports."
The Russia-US consultations in Riyadh on March 24 lasted more than 12 hours. The Russian delegation was led by Grigory Karasin, chairman of the Federation Council (upper house of parliament) Committee on Foreign Affairs, and Sergey Beseda, advisor to the Director of the Federal Security Service. The US delegation included Andrew Peek, senior director for Europe at the National Security Council, and Michael Anton, director of Policy Planning Staff at the Department of State, as well as aides to Special Envoy for Ukraine Keith Kellogg and National Security Advisor Mike Waltz.
