MOSCOW, December 20. /TASS/. Moscow will raise the issue of Ukrainian strikes on the town of Rylsk in the Kursk Region at the UN Security Council meeting that will take place on Friday at Russia’s initiative, Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told TASS.

Acting Kursk Region Governor Alexander Khinshtein said earlier that the town of Rylsk, located some 120 kilometers west of Kursk, had come under Ukrainian fire at about 3:30 p.m. Moscow time (12:30 p.m. GMT). The attacks, which targeted civilian facilities, caused casualties. The Russian Investigative Committee launched a criminal investigation under Paragraph (b) of Article 205.3 of the Russian Criminal Code ("Act of Terrorism").
