NEW DELHI, August 29. /TASS/. The death toll from flooding in northern Nepal has reached 675, the country’s National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority said.
"The bodies of 675 victims have been recovered, while 219 people have been injured," the agency said in its report. A total of 7,606 people have been rescued. Another 2,426 people remain missing, including 217 foreign nationals.
The death toll was previously reported at 626.
