MOSCOW, March 9. /TASS/. The price of Brent crude oil for May 2026 delivery exceeded $115 per barrel on London's ICE Exchange for the first time since June 29, 2022, according to trading data.

As of 5:12 a.m. Moscow time (2:12 a.m. GMT), oil was trading at $115.33 per barrel (up 23.21%).

By 5:16 a.m. Moscow time (2:16 a.m. GMT), oil prices accelerated their rise, exceeding $117 per barrel for the first time since June 17, 2022, and stood at $117.16 (up 26.4%).
