Unscheduled OPEC+ meeting not needed — UAE Energy Minister

It is reported that Moscow will voluntarily cut oil production in March by 500,000 barrels daily

DUBAI, February 13. /TASS/. There is no need to hold an unscheduled OPEC+ meeting after the decision to cut oil production announced by Russia last week, Energy Minister of the United Arab Emirates Suhail Al-Mazrouei said on Monday.

"I do not see a requirement for a meeting. The market is balanced," the Minister said, cited by the Asharq News TV Channel.

Moscow will voluntarily cut oil production in March by 500,000 barrels daily, Russia’s Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said last Friday.
