MC-21, Il-114-300 planes production can be localized in India, says Rostec

The Russian regional turboprop airplane Il-114-300 made the flight on December 16, 2020 in the Moscow Region

MOSCOW, February 1. /TASS/. Production of the latest Russian civilian airplanes MC-21 and Il-114-300 can be localized in India, international cooperation and regional policy director of Rostec Corporation Viktor Kladov told TASS in an interview on the verge of the Aero India 2021 exhibition.

"We offer making a joint development to our Indian partners on its [Il-114-300 - TASS] basis - a Russian-Indian modification, and organize its production in India in case of successful promotion on the Indian market," Kladov said.

The Russian regional turboprop airplane Il-114-300 made the flight on December 16, 2020 in the Moscow Region, Kladov noted.
