BEIRUT, February 8. /TASS/. Israeli jets have carried out strikes on facilities in eastern Lebanon allegedly belonging to the Hezbollah Shia militia, causing casualties, the Al Jadeed TV channel reports.
According to the broadcaster, the strikes targeted militia bases in a mountainous area near the border with Syria. At least three people were killed and several others suffered injuries.
The area came under attack on February 7.
Earlier, Israel accused Hezbollah of violating a ceasefire agreement and trying to smuggle weapons across the Syria-Lebanon border.
