BEIJING, December 12. /TASS/. Talks with Deputy Head of the Russian Security Council and United Russia Chairman Dmitry Medvedev in Beijing are expected to enhance the level of trust between the two countries, Chinese President Xi Jinping said on Thursday.
Medvedev is currently on a two-day working visit to China.
The Chinese president highlighted that his three meetings with Russian President Vladimir Putin this year have led to significant new agreements. "Recently, we exchanged congratulatory messages on the 75th anniversary of the establishment of Russian-Chinese diplomatic relations, and we also outlined a strategic plan to advance the bilateral relationship in the future," he said. Xi also asked Medvedev to convey his sincere greetings to the Russian president.
"I am confident that our meeting will help further bolster trust and cooperation between Russia and China, as well as between the two countries' parties," he added.
