Eight Arabs killed in Israeli raids in West Bank — media

Nine more were wounded, Al Jazeera reported

DUBAI, November 6. /TASS/. Eight people have been killed during Israeli army raids in the West Bank, Al Jazeera reported.

According to the TV channel, eight Palestinians were killed and nine others wounded during Israel Defense Forces (IDF) operations in Jenin and Tubas. The IDF used military equipment, including grenade launchers, during its raids in populated areas.

Al Jazeera has also reported that the Israeli army has detained dozens of Palestinians during military operations and destroyed most of the city's infrastructure.

Tensions flared up again in the Middle East on October 7, 2023, when militants from the Gaza Strip-based radical Palestinian movement Hamas staged a surprise attack on Israeli territory from Gaza, killing residents of Israeli border settlements and taking hostages. In response, Israel launched a military operation in the Palestinian enclave to destroy Hamas military and political wings and free all hostages.
