Israel delivers new strikes on Hezbollah targets in Lebanon — IDF

TEL AVIV, December 17. /TASS/. Israeli military delivered new strikes on Hezbollah targets in Lebanon in retaliation of the shelling attack on Israeli border areas, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said.

"Earlier today (Sunday), a launch from Lebanon toward the area of Har Dov in northern Israel was identified. An IDF tank struck the source of the launch. A number of launches toward the area of Rosh HaNikra were also identified," it said. "A short while ago, an IAF fighter jet and a helicopter also struck Hezbollah terror infrastructure and a military compound in Lebanon."

Apart from that, an IDF aircraft hit a terrorist cell in Lebanon. "Furthermore, an IDF aircraft and tanks struck Hezbollah weapons and observations means in Lebanon," it added.
