SOFIA, December 15. /TASS/. A Bulgarian-owned bulk carrier, The Ruen, has been boarded in the Arabian Sea off the coast of Yemen, the country’s national television reported.

According to the report, there has been no communication with the ship. The vessel, owned by the Navibulgar shipping company, has a crew of 18, including eight Bulgarian citizens. The rest of the crew are holders of Myanmar and Angolan passports.

Navibulgar said the crew’s safety was its priority and it continues to work on the issue with relevant international organizations.
