We Continue the Change-led bloc winning parliamentary election in Bulgaria — exit poll

SOFIA, April 2. /TASS/. The coalition bloc We Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria is winning Sunday’s early parliamentary election with 26.4% of votes, the BTV television channel said, citing the results of an exit poll conducted by the Alpha Research sociological agency.

The bloc is followed by the Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria (GERB) political party, which is scoring 25.5% of votes in coalition with the Union of Democratic Forces. Next are the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (13.9%), the Revival party (13.5%), and the Bulgarian Socialist Party for Bulgaria (9.2%). Other political associations are failing to surpass the four-percent threshold.

According to exit polls conducted by Market Links, the winner is GERB - Union of Democratic Forces with 25.5% of votes. We Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria is winning 24.5% of votes, the Movement for Rights and Freedoms - 14.2%, Revival - 13.8%, the Bulgarian Socialist Party for Bulgaria - 10.1%, and the There Is Such A People party - four percent.

The voter turnout was 40.5% according to Alpha Research and 33.7% according to Market Links.
