MOSCOW, March 10. /TASS/. The Russian Justice Ministry has designated politician Gennady Gudkov, the World Wildlife Fund, economist Sergey Guriyev and blogger Veranika Vodvud, aka Nixelpixel, as foreign agents, the ministry said on its website on Friday.
"G. V. Gudkov has issued negative statements about Russian Armed Forces servicemen, called for supplies of weapons to Ukraine, openly supporting it. He took part in the creation and distribution among members of the general public of materials of foreign agents, used foreign publications to spread inaccurate information about decisions made by government agencies of the Russian Federation and the policies they pursue," the ministry said in a statement.
Guriyev has been designated for creating and spreading materials of foreign agents and for statements against the special operation. Vodvud, according to the ministry, has received money from foreign sources and openly spoken in support of Ukraine. The World Wildlife Fund has received support from foreign sources, and under the guise of activities to protect nature, the environment and biodiversity, representatives of the fund attempted to exert influence on the decisions of Russian government agencies and hampered the implementation of industrial and infrastructure projects.
