Jammed drone crashes in Sevastopol’s residential neighborhood — governor

According to Mikhail Razvozhayev, first responders, the police and National Guard staff are now working at the scene

SEVASTOPOL, February 24. /TASS/. A drone suppressed by Russian electronic warfare capabilities crashed in a large residential area, damaging an apartment building, Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhayev said.

"Our servicemen used on-duty electronic warfare capabilities to suppress a drone, which then fell in the area of Victory Avenue. The drone - which carried no explosives and tentatively was a reconnaissance UAV - descended by parachute, so it was hard to detect, and automatic electronic warfare systems were triggered. According to the Sevastopol Rescue Service, only the facade of an apartment building suffered minor damage. None of the people were injured," he wrote on Telegram.

According to the governor, first responders, the police and National Guard staff are now working at the scene.
