RIYADH, December 6. /TASS/. Russia and Saudi Arabia can create a joint company in the fertilizer sphere, President Vladimir Putin said during the visit to Riyadh.

The Russian leader together with Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud welcomed participants, with Russian businessman Dmitry Mazepin among them, before the start of talks.

"[He] is dealing with fertilizers," Putin said when introducing him to the Crown Prince. "There is a chance to make a large joint company," the Russian President added.

Saudi Arabia is a major producer and exporter of fertilizers, particularly phosphate and nitrogen ones.
