BERLIN, November 8. /TASS/. Inflation in Germany slowed significantly in October and reached 3.8% in annual terms, which is the lowest figure since August 2021, according to the German Federal Statistical Office.

According to the report, consumer prices grew by 3.8% in October compared to the same period last year and were unchanged in comparison with September. Inflation reached 4.5% in September.

At the same time, the statistical office reported that energy prices fell by 3.2% in October compared to the same month last year, but food prices rose by 6.1%.
