Annual inflation in Russia accelerates to 6.69% on October 24 - 30

A week earlier it was 6.59%

MOSCOW, November 1. /TASS/. Annual inflation in Russia from October 24 to October 30, 2023 accelerated to 6.69% from 6.59% a week earlier, by the Ministry of Economic Development said on Wednesday.

"In the week from October 24 to October 30, 2023, inflation in the consumer market slowed down to 0.14%. The rate of price growth reached 6.69% year-on-year, the," the ministry said.

On September 22, the Ministry of Economic Development published an updated forecast of Russia’s socio-economic development for 2024-2026. According to the statement, the ministry raised the forecast for inflation in Russia in 2023 from 5.3% to 7.5%.
