Dr. Oetker transfers ownership to its existing Russian Managing Directors, thus ending all its activities in Russia

BERLIN, April 8. /TASS/. Germany’s Dr. Oetker decided to fully halt its business in Russia amid developments in Ukraine, the company said in its statement on Friday.

"Food manufacturer Dr. Oetker withdraws completely from Russia," the company said. "The company stopped all exports to Russia, all investments in its Russian sister company and all marketing activities in the Russian market immediately" after the start of the Russian special military operation in Ukraine.

The company’s plant in Russia’s Belgorod was producing only basic food products such as yeast and baking powder since then, the German corporation noted.

"Dr. Oetker transfers ownership to its existing Russian Managing Directors, thus ending all its activities in Russia," the company added.
